if NAPS are what happens between my 4-5am auto-wake and 6am... a more civilized hour, i say FOR SURE.

TODAY, for example, between 5am and 7am? i was rooting around a SPACE [my warehouse, actually] i later learned [in my dream, naturally] was once WINDSOR CASTLE in a PRIOR lifetime...

i have ZERO ROYAL FAMILY YEARNINGS [in my waking life]...

so what the actual EFF, girlfriend?!?

hugs.

dreams RULE.

I always dream during naps and often they are my most vivid or wild/fascinating dreams. Though I also think partly that it’s simply that I remember nap dreams (or close to morning wake time dreams) more readily than ones from deep in the night that are further from waking fully up and get buried/superseded by subsequent ones.

Hi Dan! Yes, I think you're onto something. Maybe during naps we sleep just a little less deeply, allowing our memory part of the brain to stay somewhat engaged. It's good to hear that others also have vivid nap dreams. Mine sure are! Thanks for the conversation :)

Yes i think it may be something like that, and a greater likelihood of being in the liminal state of hypnogogia where so many interesting things can show up. I see that a lot too in my mom who is narcoleptic, and among the many aspects of that condition is, aside from lots of sleep and sleep-related episodes, it’s almost all in that sort of state.
